「彫り師」が医師免許を持たずに入れ墨を彫り代金を受け取ったとして、兵庫県警明石署は１０日、医師法違反（無資格営業）容疑で明石市小久保、山口組系暴力団組員の彫り師、井上広行被告（３６）＝傷害罪などで起訴済み＝を逮捕した。同署によると、容疑を認めているといい、同法違反容疑での彫り師の逮捕は全国初。

逮捕容疑は平成２０年５～８月、井上容疑者の自宅マンションで、知人男性（４４）ら２人の左腕などに入れ墨を彫り、計１万円を受け取ったとしている。

厚生労働省によると、皮膚に色素を入れる入れ墨は医療行為にあたり、医師免許を持たずに入れ墨を施し代金を得る行為は同法で禁じられている。
